DDSA secures renewed funding to strengthen data science in Denmark
We are pleased to see that our partner, the Danish Data Science Academy (DDSA) has received DKK 75 million in renewed funding from the Novo Nordisk Foundation for 2027–2031. The funding enables the academy to continue strengthening Denmark’s data science ecosystem through fellowships, training activities, and collaborative initiatives.

The Danish Data Science Academy (DDSA) has beenawarded DKK 75 million from the Novo Nordisk Foundation to continue its work inthe period 2027–2031.
Since its establishment in 2021, DDSA has built astrong national platform for data science, supporting talent development andfostering interdisciplinary collaboration across research environments.
With the renewed funding, DDSA will continue tostrengthen Denmark’s data science ecosystem through fellowships, trainingactivities, and collaboration across academia, industry, and the public sector.The funding will also support national research efforts, promote knowledgesharing, and contribute to ensuring that data science drives innovation acrosssectors.
