The Danish Data Science Academy (DDSA) has beenawarded DKK 75 million from the Novo Nordisk Foundation to continue its work inthe period 2027–2031.

Since its establishment in 2021, DDSA has built astrong national platform for data science, supporting talent development andfostering interdisciplinary collaboration across research environments.

With the renewed funding, DDSA will continue tostrengthen Denmark’s data science ecosystem through fellowships, trainingactivities, and collaboration across academia, industry, and the public sector.The funding will also support national research efforts, promote knowledgesharing, and contribute to ensuring that data science drives innovation acrosssectors.

At DARA, we welcome this continued investment and lookforward to further collaboration with DDSA, as well as to following the academy’s ongoing contribution to advancing data science and innovation in Denmark.
