The Winter 2025/26 Calls for PhD Fellowships are now closed
We are once again grateful for the strong interest in our DARA PhD fellowship calls. With both calls closing on the 20 of February, the evaluation process is now underway. We expect to announce the recipients of the DARA Winter 2025/26 calls in June.

We are once again grateful for the strong interest in our DARA PhD fellowship calls. With both calls closing on the 20 of February, the evaluation process is now underway.
To ensure a fair and impartial review process, all eligible applications will be assessed by international experts. More than 50experienced scientists have been appointed to four committees, bringing together a broad range of expertise across the scientific fields and disciplines covered by DARA.
Each application is reviewed independently by three experts, who provide scores and detailed assessments. The process concludes with two stages of consensus meetings. First, each committee meets to discuss and rank thetop-performing applications within their field. Subsequently, the committee chairs and vice-chairs convene to establish a final ranked list, which is submitted to the DARA Board of Directors for the final allocation of fellowships.
We expect to announce the recipients of the DARA Winter 2025/26 calls in June.
